Meet our Staff
Pastor Urbach is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and a 1971 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis where he received his Masters of Divinity. He has served all of his ministry in South Dakota. He served Bethesda Lutheran in Marion South Dakota and Zion in Hurley for three years. He became pastor at Faith Lutheran in 1974. Pastor and his late wife Andrea have a daughter Jennifer and a married son Jonathan. Pastor Urbach has served the church in many capacities. He has served on the United Way board and currently serves as chairman of the City of Pierre Park and Recreation Advisory Board, and is a past president of the Pierre Kiwanis Club, a Pierre Booster Club. Pastor Willms is a native of Britt, Iowa which is home of the National Hobo Convention. He attended Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) and had hopes of becoming a Veterinarian. During his college Years he was led by the Lord to become a Pastor instead. After graduating from Iowa State in Animal Science, Levi went to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Prior to leaving, however he met Jessica Grimm who he dated while at seminary and they were married prior to Vicarage. Pastor Willms and Jessica spent their vicarage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Des Moines, IA. In April of 2006 Pastor Willms received the call to come to Faith Lutheran Church in Pierre, SD. He was ordained in Pierre, on August 6th, 2006 and he and his wife have been here ever since. Email him at

Part-time Music Coordinator
Karen Lindbloom is married to Dr. B.O. Lindbloom and has two sons Chris and Rodd Bauck. Karen has been associated with Faith choir for over 20 years and has been a member of Faith since 1973. Her education includes a B.S. degree in vocal and instrumental music from Moorhead State University, Minnesota, and a M.M. degree in applied music from the University of South Dakota. She taught elementary music at St Joseph School for eight years and was a part of the Capital City Children's Chorus. She has done additional graduate work at the University of Minnesota and St. John's University. She is an accompanist at T.F. Riggs in Pierre.
